About us

Protecting consumer rights across Zambia since 2002

The Zambia Consumer Association (ZACA) is a non-governmental organisation promoting and protecting consumer rights across Zambia.

Why consumer protection matters

We believe that a fair and transparent marketplace empowers individuals, strengthens communities and drives national progress. Whether addressing quality goods and services, fair trade practices or consumer education, ZACA works to ensure that consumers' voices are heard and their rights are upheld.

Consumers face daily challenges in accessing high-quality products, making informed choices and asking for accountability. Unregulated markets risk exploitation and unfair practices. Consumer rights provide the foundation for a thriving economy by building trust, transparency and collaboration between consumers and businesses.
